Margaritaville Universal Studios
GC: Forte Construction, A&D: Architects Orange
In 2016, this Jimmy-Buffett-inspired restaurant location opened in Universal Studios California. CIR had the pleasure of installing flooring designed to look and feel like a tropical oasis (custom LVT products made to look like ocean and sand) along with other products to tie into other themes on the stage and in the dining areas of the restaurant. This project had some concrete moisture issues that we helped address and mitigate as well as tight timeframes with double shifts and off-hours labor to bring it across the finish line before opening day.
