We had a vision of serving not only general contractors but also entirely new types of customer: facility managers, interior designers and architects. Our vision paid off. In five years, our company grew 500% — and we redefined the way the industry did business.
Our industry leadership didn’t stop there: CIR was among the first to add union installers in-house, ensuring the most consistent — and efficient — delivery of product. We also took an early environmental lead, working to recycle used flooring products as well as to eliminate VOC-adhesive products long before others recognized the need to do so.
Today, hundreds of commercial flooring organizations have followed our footsteps. And we continue to lead.
