Sailor, golfer, traveler and struggling tennis player.... Ken, founder & CEO of CIR is a Chicago native happily transplanted to South Orange County. He has over 25 years of experience working in the A&D communities and 13 years experience in manufacturing various types of window and wall coverings. When asked why he started CIR, he laughs, and answers reflectively, "Because I thought I'd be good at it." But more than that, he says, " I wanted to develop a professional company in an industry that had not previously supported that." Ken and his wife, an avid marathon runner, travel as often as time permits. Their favorite haunts are the romantic European cities, especially Paris, with an emphasis on its culture and history. Weekends, the Hurd’s can often be seen cruising Newport Harbor on their "Duffy." |
